UPDATE ON HAUNTED HOUSE: A few months back my family & I went for a walk on old Elm ST. We walked by the old house, it was & still is empty, both the top & the bottom flats. Before I even told my 7 yr old son the history of the house & my past experience w/it, he looked at the house, stepped away from the front lawn & without taking his eyes off of the upper flat's window he asked, "Mama, is this house haunted?". I answered "Yes baby, it is." His reply, "I know.".

We proceeded to walk around the block, then we returned back to the front of the old house where the car was parked. Spencer kept asking if he could walk up to the front window & look inside, I said no, but he persisted. To satisfy him I walked up to the front door & peered inside the house. I saw nothing unusual, although I remember thinking to myself that I wished this house represented something positive, instead of death & suffering. I went back to the car to get in & report my findings to Spencer. As I opened the door, just before I bent my knees to get into the car, I looked up at the huge Elm tree directly above our car & what I saw I will remember for the rest of my life...my first look at a real fairy! As I stood in the doorway of the car, I watched a flesh colored fairy fly from one branch to another on the big Elm. When she landed I clearly saw a set of humanoid legs w/very dainty feet, & knees located just a bit lower on her legs than our knees are on our legs. I saw a gossamer type of cloth cut unevenly that covered the upper half of her body. As she flew from one branch to the other, I could literally hear the flutter of her very large wings. They did not sound in any way like the wing flutter of a bug,it was not as fast a bugs wings move & there was no buzzing sound from the wings. I could hear singular wing flaps, slower like a bird's wings speed as it's slowing down to land, only this was no bird!

I tried pointing it out to Karl & Spencer, but they couldn't pinpoint the spot I was pointing out. Unfortunately, they were never able to see her in the mix of all the leaves. However, every time I looked up, I saw her clear as day. As the boys became anxious to get home, I had to rip myself away from the curb & force myself into the car. I did not want to leave. I knew the moment I rode away from that curb, that this fairy would become something I 'had' experienced, instead of something I 'was' experiencing in the moment. As I looked up one last time to try to study every detail of her & burn it into my brain, she gave one single flutter of her wings as if to wave goodbye. I winked & said thank you, then I got into the car.

Something positive to represent this old house/street...I recieved a direct response to that thought, & within minutes the feeling of that street changed for me.

I've returned to that street since that day, I've never seen the fairy again. But now when I walk down that street, I think of my little fairy, instead of the unfortunate happenings of my old haunted house on Elm street. Just wanted to share that amazing experience here.

Oh wow! Jaime I am pea-green with envy... or is it wee-green with envy? patty lol
What an extrodinary and magnificent experience you had.

I've learned much over the years about the fae & nature folks and one of the things that I've learned and agree with is that reasons for a fairy or nature folk appearing to someone is "to give them something else to think about"... and I would say a big 'bingo' on this in connection with your experience. Definitely, you now have something positively enchanting and charming to think about instead of the negative experiences of the past, just like you ask for. That is so cool! tinkerbell

Thank you for sharing your sighting. It made my day!!!

Dawn! Yay, I'm so happy to hear from you! I've missed ya bunches, where ya been?
I've never heard that Fairies appear to give you "something else to think about". Thanks for the validation that she was there just for me, & as a direct response to my thought. YOU made MY day, just by sharing that w/me!

Oh Dawn, if I could only describe the feeling of having to force myself to leave her. It was so difficult, but when she flapped her wings that one last time, I kind of felt like she was giving me permission to go. I don't know if "permission" is an accurate word, but somehow I know by flapping her wings that last time, she was saying "It's OK, we've met & shared a special moment, now go on home w/your family & don't forget me.". And forget her, I never will.

Thanks so much for your enthusiasm over my beautiful experience. It makes it that much sweeter for me! And thanks for the tip on why she came, I'll remember to keep that in mind in the future, what helpful lil friends they are indeed. Love 'em to pieces!

Oh my gosh! I think you just helped me figure out the reason for my last fairy encounter. I've only had one other 'up close' experience w/a fairy, & until just now, I didn't even know that it was an intended visit. I thought it was just a chance sighting, but now, since knowing what you told me about them trying to give you something else to think about, I totally KNOW that it MEANT for me to see it! This is what happened...

In early January of this year, I was out at my sister's helping her pack up her house to move. To set the right tone of this experience, I'll have to go into some personal details here, I hope you don't mind. In June of 08, we lost our mom, pretty violently. It's been hard for all of us, but this year it's been especially hard for my sister Jen. She was in the middle of planning her wedding when we lost mom. On top of that, she had just found out w/in the past couple of years, that she couldn't have children due to a bout of cancer she had recently fought a battle with & won when she was just 25 yrs old. She ended up postponing the wedding for a year, but now had to re-plan the entire thing over again dis-including my mom. I can't even imagine how hard that was for her. It didn't really even register to me until the day of her wedding, as I walked down the main isle to take my seat in the Bride's section for family. As I'm sure you're aware, the Bride & Groom's immediate families always sit in the very first row of the church pews on both the right & left sides of the main isle. The parents of the bride & groom traditionally take the first two seats closest to the isle on their respective sides. Well I get to the front of the isle on the bride's side, and the very first thing I see is the first two seats of the pew...empty. This was where my mom & dad were to be seated, but all that sat there were two empty seats with two white lilies in their place. It was at that moment that I began to understand how hard this day was going to be on my little sister.

Needless to say, it was a bittersweet day for all of us. Every picture that was taken that day, was just another reminder that someone very special was missing from that picture. We all got through it though, I truly believe that both of my parents were there w/all of us that day, they wouldn't have missed this for anything in the world...or even anything 'other-worldly' for that matter! I felt them there every moment.

OK, so in September the wedding went off w/out a hitch. 3 weeks later, Jen finds out that she's pregnant!!! What a blessing & a miracle! But for Jen, yet another bittersweet experience. See, I got to enjoy having my mom around for my entire pregnancy, not to mention she & my son Spencer (once born), ended up creating a bond that lasted for 5 wonderful years until she was taken from us. He has memories of her, he had a relationship w/her, he KNEW her. Jen was aware that this would never be the case with her pregnancy or with her baby, once he was here. We were all aware of it. From this point on, I decided that as the new matriarch of this family, I was going to take mom's place for Jen throughout this pregnancy. I would be her caretaker, I would come over w/groceries, & clean & do laundry & cook her comfort foods. I would be the one she leaned on.

That was September & October, then in November Jen's husband John found out that he has Spinal Synopsis. It's a birth defect that didn't show itself until this past November when he could no longer walk erect. He now walks at a permanent 90 degree angle, he is only 30 yrs old. He looks like a huge upside down 'L' when he walks. Unfortunately, there's not much they can do for him aside from meds & physical therapy, that their insurance doesn't cover much of. There is surgery, but it is said to cause more damage than repair in most cases & the doctor doesn't recommend it. He's been home from work since November with no pay. So now they're expecting this baby, he can't work, there's no cure in sight, & now Jen has to pick up more days at work just to make ends meet, when she was supposed to be cutting back her hours at work to avoid a complications during her pregnancy. If you think it couldn't get any worse, you're wrong! In December they decided to move closer to us so we could help out during the pregnancy & once the baby came. They found a great place that would put them 20 mins away from us (we now live about an hour & a half from each other). Moving day was the second wk-end in January. The last week in December, the deal for the new house had fallen through. To make things worse, they had already given their notice to their current landlord, & she had already found new renters. They were now w/out a place to live & only had 2 weeks to find one & get out.

OK, so now back to January & packing to move. My husband Karl, my son & I all rushed out on a work & school night for all of us to go help Jen & John pack up the house. They had found a new place within 2 days of loosing the other one. Unfortunately, this house would put them even further away from us then they already were by an extra 15 mins. This was more than I could bear. I already wasn't able to take part in her pregnancy as much as I had vowed myself to, because of the miles between us, now it was going to be even harder to get to her. We had been there packing for most of the night we were all exhausted, but she looked like a walking corpse. She was so exhausted from all of this stress, the extra hours at work, having an invalid husband for the past 2 months, not having enough rest or help so that she could take care of herself. As the night neared an end my husband & I had packed up 8o% of the house & I still felt guilty for leaving, but Spencer had school in the morning & both Karl & I had to work. Karl stepped out side to go start the car. I followed him out to get some fresh air, it was freezing, but I needed it, I felt overwhelmed w/guilt for leaving, I felt overwhelmed w/worry because now they were forced to move to a house w/less space & higher rent even further away from us. How was I going to help lighten her load if I'm now an hour & 45 mins away from her at any given moment? Hadn't our family been through enough in the last yr & a half? Couldn't just one thing go as planned, would that be too much to ask for? How much can we possibly handle for goodness sake! A death, a somber wedding, a bittersweet pregnancy, a life long ailment w/potentially no cure, the loss of a house, being forced into a house that is too much - too little - & too far away, being over worked, not getting enough rest. I was honestly so fed up, frustrated & scared thinking about this whole last year & a half, that I felt like if I didn't get some fresh air, I was going to suffocate! I felt the tears well up in my eyes as I looked at my sister's packed house, knowing she would now be further from me. I couldn't let her see me cry, I had to be strong for her. As Karl opened the sliding door to go start the car, I slid past him so fast I almost knocked him over! I had to get out there before the tears came, I couldn't let her see.

Karl made it out directly after me, but trying not to make it look obvious that I was upset. It's amazing how after being married & sharing a life for 10 years, how little a spouse has to say to their mate to communicate. He didn't even ask what was wrong w/me, he just simply came over to where I was standing, wrapped his arms around me & said, "I know, it'll be OK though, we'll just have to try harder.". He knew, I didn't have to say a word. He turned to go up the hill & start the car. As I stood out on my sister's deck looking out over the beautiful lake that she lived on, it started to snow. How beautiful a sight this was. There was already a thick snow cover from the previous day. But now, with everything already covered in a gorgeous white blanket of snow, the new fresh falling snow just added to the beauty of this picture perfect setting. The lake had completely frozen, & it was now just a glistening shinny surface with a back drop of snow covered pines & weeping willows surrounding it, as if hugging the lake to keep it warm. All of the foliage was kissed w/snow. As the fresh kisses fell from the sky, the tears poured down my face. My head was filled with so much chatter & worry, my heart filled w/so much ache. I looked down to grab a wadded up tissue from my coat pocket to wipe my nose. Just as I looked back up from this, it flew in front of my face! Not more than 3 feet away from me at eye level, a fairy zipped by me, from the right to the left then disappeared into the falling snow. It was awesome! Maybe 'zipped' is overstating the speed. It more like fluttered, but not in the wobbly motion that a butterfly would, in a straight line but at 'flutter' speed. It was slow enough that I could actually see the knobs of the lower placed knees again & one curved foot. As it almost completely passed me, I caught a glimpse of the back of the head & the left arm (arms that seemed too long BTW, but still proportionate to the body). I could also again hear the very distinct flutter of it's wings, so different from the sound of any other type of wings. When I said it disappeared into the air & falling snow, I mean it literally disappeared! It was a clear night, I was able to see all the way across the lake even w/the snow falling. When it disappeared, it just vanished into thin air, even though I could still see very well beyond were it had been. My heart stopped! I knew what I had just seen, there was no mistaking this for an insect...not in early January. The only bird that was still around the lake this time of year was the Grey Haring & even it's smallest hatchlings are gigantic compared to what had just flown by. It doesn't even matter what time of year it was, or whether it could have been a bird or bug. Because no bird or bug that I know of has ARMS!

I was speechless but sure of what I had just seen. I stayed out there until Karl came back down the hill from starting the car. When he got to the deck & told him what had just happened, he said "Well look at this place, all this nature; fairy central.". Gosh I love my husband.

All night I had dreaded the ride home because I knew my poor husband was going to have a basket-case sitting in the passenger seat, that he was going to have to console & pep-talk. I just knew that THIS little piggy was going to cry All the way home. I also knew that after that much crying, I would inevitably end up with a migraine from hell that would prevent me from getting a decent night's rest. But instead, all the way home I thought about that fairy & the similarities that it had to the one I saw on Elm street. I could barely contain my excitement, that not only was I lucky enough to see such a beautiful creature once, up close, but TWICE in one lifetime! There was no crying, there was no headache, no somber mood in the car. Just pure excitement! I couldn't stop smiling all the way home. When I got in the door, I had a good night's sleep. And in the morning, when I awoke for work, the first thing I thought about was my lil fairy, then my lil fairiES! It was going to be a good day.

Thank you Dawn for making me realize that there was nothing of 'chance' about that encounter. I now KNOW that it too was intended, just as the Elm street encounter was. And I would have never put that together had it not been for you. Now both of these encounters have so much more meaning, it makes it personal for me. I can't thank you enough for that. Bless you so much!

Wow, what great experiences, Jaim! How I loved these! cheerful

Now for the inevitable sync...

I have just returned from a week's vacation with my husband. One day we decided to play a bit of mini golf on offer in the nearby wooded area. I had this distinct thought that it must be full of fairies and I felt compelled to ask to see one.

We began the game and at one point my husband went after one of the balls that got knocked out in the tall grass. As I stood waiting for him, something wooshed by me, right in front of my face, flying low. It was quite fast and therefore blurred, but, like your snow fairy experience, it literally disappeared. My eyes made a quick and futile scan, but it was truly gone.

I smiled as I realized I got my wish. I had hoped to see a better vision (like yours was at the haunted house tree), but I only got the fly-by. Later on in the game though, I had another strange experience...I was looking down at the stark white golf ball surrounded by grass when suddenly the ball went black for about one full second, then it went white again. I knew for sure something strange had just happened, but what? I decided that it was perhaps a fairy obscuring the ball giving me another tiny glimpse. But alas, I saw no long limbs or knobby knees. However, in my photos of fairies, I have seen them with these somewhat out of proportion limbs, and I have read accounts by a clairvoyant (Hodson) who saw fairies, etc., studied them, and described their limbs like this as well.

And I have the additional thrill in knowing that we synced up again, as usual. Your fairy sighting must have prompted me to think of seeing a fairy! My experience occurred Wednesday.

Aw Jaime, Hugs to you and your family, It's so sad for so many bad things to happen to you all like that. I pray your bil will eventually find a treatment to either cure or control his infirmity. I pray your sister and her baby are okay... I especially pray that your family is at the end of the bad and the goodness and happiness will reign from now on. hug

Alisa and Jaime, I enjoy both your sightings or feelings very much. I believe you were blessed by the positive side of the fae to validate and comfort you and give you a giant wee smile to brighten your lives.

Thanks for sharing your magnificent encounters. I enjoyed hearing about them. Cool!

I am moving this Fairy Experience of Jaime's from the Curious About Feeling A Haunted House topic because it is such a gem and I didn't want it getting lost in a longer thread. Hope that is okay with you Jaime! allhail

P.S. Jaime - before I moved your post, it was time stamped 4:44! Just FYI. Way beyond coincidence. yes It now says 2:44... dunno

Hello Jaimie,

I'm Starr one of Alisa's good friend, she sent me a email regarding fairies and asked if I could read about your experiences. Which I did and I found it fantastic!!!! First of all, I want to say that you are an amazing writer the story you tell is incredible, Second my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. It seems as though you have an amazing spirit to carry on through all that turmoil(well I know you do Alisa always talks highly about you:)). Even though the fairy topic did bring me to read this unknowingly, Alisa sent this to me because I really needed a reminder of how blessed I am it is truly humbling. so Thank you.

As I told Alisa I teared up when I read this because it reminded me of a lot of stuff that is going on with my life. I've been in that positioned before where all the chips are down and it feels like you've fallen and keep falling and it seems as though you can't get up and all you want to do is scream STOP!!!! enough is enough boy do I know.

This is why I'm so happy the fairy showed herself to you how lucky!!! I read it's the second time you saw one. Go girl!!!!this means that you are very special because they don't just show themselves to just anybody LOL!!!! It's funny because every time Alisa mentions you I always get the impression of a sheer light pinkish cloth
flowing, something like a fairy would wear. I also kept getting in my mind wind or air something of that nature, so I asked Alisa and she told me you were a Gemini, a Air sign!!!! go figure don't know why or how I knew that but I did, by the way I am too I'm a libra:)

Hope I get to talk to you some more on the forum.
I feel like we can relate to a lot of similar things. I'm like you I love science that overlaps into spirituality, I eat and breath it LOL!!!! I'm so into physics it's crazy! can't really do it, but I find it fascinating. Time travel, dimensions, black hole, string theory, now I just wish I was smart enough to actually follow it geesh!!!

Thanks for sharing your wonderful experience!

Hello Star, hiya

First, I'd like to apologize for taking so long to get back w/you. I have been living a hectic life lately. I have had you on my mind though lately, as Alisa clued me in on your new membership here at AUS-CITY a couple of weeks ago. Welcome to the best website in the world! Knowing that you're a friend of Alisa's, I'm sure that you'll fit right in here.

I am so happy that you liked my posts on fairies & thank you for such an awesome reply. Thank you for the compliment on my writing as well, it's always nice to get a compliment such as that. happyrun

Thank you for your thoughts & prayers for my family & I. Things have definitely taken a turn for the better in the last few weeks & I'm sure your prayers helped that turn come to fruition. You can check out the Hey, Hi & Hello page for updates on the problems I mentioned in the lake fairy post, so as not to make this reply too lengthy.

I'm glad my story helped you remember how blessed you are. One of my favorite sayings is,"If everyone took all their problems & threw them into a pile & could see everyone Else's, they'd take theirs back!". ja

Well I can tell I'm going to like you, you've managed to compliment me & my spirit all in one post! LOL! Thank you, sometimes I don't feel like I have an amazing spirit, but then people like you offer words like that, & I'm forced to see how strong I really am. Bless you for that. hug

I'm sorry to hear that you can actually relate to the problems I've been experiencing. Life on life's terms sucks sometimes, but you too have the strength to endure whatever life throws at you, even when you feel like your drowning in a sea of problems drowning. I hope - KNOW rather, that you believe in energy, from what you listed as your interests above. So just focus on sending positive energy & thoughts out into the universe atom. Know in your heart & soul that things will be fine & pull THAT reality into your life. meditate

fairy I'm happy that the fairies showed themselves to me too! What a gift indeed, to have had such a spiritual experience! I know now that the visits were intended, thanks to Dawn.

The impression of a sheer light pinkish cloth, huh? Wow that kinda reminds me of the drawing Alisa made, representing the impression she gets when she thinks of me. Thank you for sharing that w/me! Who wouldn't be flattered by a comparison to a fairy...or even fairy clothes?

I had no clue that Gemini was an air sign, thanks for filling me in. I do know that it is a sign of duality yinyang (twins). I am always experiencing both sides of things, if that makes any sense to you. But an air sign, I am so excited to find that out & learn more on air signs. Thanks for the motivation for more research. Oh you're a Libra...YAY!

We will definitely be communicating more on the forum. I can see that you & I are into the same kind of stuff, which means that we will have much to learn from each other. Can't wait.

Well Starr, it has been my pleasure meeting you. I am off now to go read some of your other posts, lotta catching up to do. I am happy that you are a member here, & I think you'll be a wonderful addition to this forum! thumbsup

Aw Dawn, many hugs back to you! Thank you so much for your kind words of support. awww

It's so sad for so many bad things to happen to you all like that

awwI appreciate your empathy Dawn, but really they're not bad things that happened to us. It seems that way while it's running it's course though doesn't it? In the bigger picture, I know that all of this has happened because there are important lessons for me to learn from all of this. I know it all seems bad, but these are the things that help us to realize how strong we really are. Each and every one of these experiences (even the ones that seem bad), & the way that I choose to handle them, shapes who I become as an individual & as a part of a bigger 'whole'. Every time I'm faced w/problems, I'm forced to buck up & be a big girl. I guess it's kinda the universe's way of saying "OK, you've passed this stage with flying colors, now it's time for a growth spurt!". It's all nature, the cycle of life & everything that makes up that cycle. And I signed on for all of it, when I agreed to come here to earth to experience human emotion. What good would I be to anyone if I couldn't relate to bad times? How would I ever learn how to appreciate the good times (duality)? yinyang

I thank you so much for all of your support Dawn. Without your words of encouragement & prayers, I'm sure these lessons would take longer for me to learn. It's always a great comfort to know that someone has included you in their prayers, in such a personal conversation with God, that means so much to me. And I thank you on behalf of my family as well, they benefited from your prayers too. flower2

My BIL John did go for that second opinion, & found a doc that agreed to do the surgery. happydanceIt was a great success!! He now stands erect again, will be able to care for his new son & is suffering no more pain!!! My sis Jen is doing great with the pregnancy, only 6 more weeks! She is able to get a bit more rest these days with John being able to take care of himself.

One of the lessons that I learned from all of this, is what an amazingly strong & brave sister I have. Not to mention, what an awesome wife she has turned out to be. I feel the pride of a mother who just realized that her little girl is now a woman. I am the older of us three, I've been w/my husband for almost 11 yrs, married almost 9yrs, I am raising two kids, yet I feel I have learned so much from my little sister on inner strength & being a supportive wife. See, even a sh!tstorm of bad, leads to good somewhere down the road (but I'd still bring good boots anyway)!

I have to say Dawn, that the more I get to know you, the more I feel I already do. Maybe because you carry the same kind of positive energy that Alisa carries. I'm pulled to people like that, like you; positive, loving, compassionate & helpful people. Thanks so much for the fairy tip & for all your well wishes.

I'm happy that you enjoyed the sightings & feelings on the fairy topic, I enjoy sharing them w/you. I believe you're right about me being blessed by the positive side of the Fae, it does feel like nothing short of a blessing, my visits w/them. They are so special to me. I've decided to make a fairy house, well two actually, one for the garden & one for the inside of the house. This past fall, after seeing the first fairy on Elm street, I took the kids for a walk on that same old street to collect twigs for homemade fairy doors(I introduced Alisa to fairy doors when we first met & she made a post on them if you want to read more about them). Well we never got around to making the doors, but I am so touched by my two visits w/them, that I've decided to give them homes in my home, rather than just doors to my life. I want them to know that they are always welcome, wherever I am. I plan to put one up on a wall-shelf(I've read that they feel safer in homes w/cats when they are high up), I do have a cat. I'm making the houses out of the twigs from Elm St.(kinda symbolic-first fairy sighting and all), leaves, moss from my backyard, pine cones, acorns & hot glue (I'm trying to figure out a natural alternative for the hot glue, in keeping w/the nature theme which they respect & protect so much).

When both houses are done & in place I plan to make offerings & leave gifts for them at their houses to show my appreciation for their two visits in my time of need. Also I just want to spoil them, I have so many little gifts already set aside!

You're right, a giant wee smile is what I received from them, although it felt more like a giant wee hug! And brighten our lives, they have! tinkerbell

Thanks for sharing this experience with me Dawn. hug

Love & Bless,
~Jaime~

Alisa,

Glad you liked them! grin

As for your sync, I loved it! How awesome that we seem to share so many syncs throughout our experiences. I think it's great that you got away w/David for a bit, always nice to recharge. I like golf too, do you play or were you there watching David play?

fairyI do think it was a fairy that you saw, I mean I can't say for sure, but you asked to see one, so I'd be surprised if you got say a ghost or an orb instead. I think there were so many similarities w/my sighting & yours. Flew right in front of your face...check. Disappeared into thin air...check. Direct response to your request...check. Sounds like my experience almost to the tee. The lack of arms & legs could just mean that she/he was going by too fast for you to see them. Remember in the lake fairy post I had to correct myself from saying she "zipped' right by because that word insinuated that she was flying fast? I later changed that word to "fluttered, but not wobbly like a butterfly2 butterfly". OK, well I think that if she did in fact "zip" by like your fairy did, I wouldn't have seen her left arm, little knee & foot either. But your fairy was so fast that you couldn't see any appendages. I've seen things like that before in my house, but since I've experienced orbs w/the naked eye, both inside & outside of my house I guess I just figured it was an orb. But now that I've heard about your experience at the golf course, I'm inclined to think that maybe it was a fairy that was going so fast, that I couldn't see any appendages that would have led me to think it was a fairy. Thanks for sharing that experience, gives me something to ponder. scratchchin

I wonder if maybe the next time you request to see one, if it might help to ask them to fly by slow enough for you to enjoy their beautiful detail, if that might help you get a better visual? eyeball eyeball

I think the golf ball going from white to black, back to white again was the fairy's way of letting you know that it was an intelligent spirit. Kinda like pullin your leg a bit. teehee

However, in my photos of fairies, I have seen them with these somewhat out of proportion limbs, and I have read accounts by a clairvoyant (Hodson) who saw fairies, etc., studied them, and described their limbs like this as well.

I am so excited to hear this! I haven't been able to confirm or validate if these disproportionate limbs are normal attributes of fairies, because there are so little pictures of them to study. If these are photos that are accessible, I'd love to see them, are they the ones you already have posted on the forum? Also, is this Hodson guy the same guy who created the fairy window/crystal/box that you & Flux told me about last year? Remember, he would look into it & he was able to see past the veil into their world? Same guy? dunno

The only thing that I could somewhat call validation of the limb thing, is the picture of the giraffe that you posted that I ended up finding a fairy in. I later re-posted it as "Fairy Highlighted", after I used GIMP to highlight it. In that pic I noticed the disproportionate limbs too. But that was my own vision again. It would be nice to see it in someone Else's pics or writings. Thanks for the name, I'm going to research him tonight.

What a thrill for me too, knowing that we synced up again! You're so funny, usually when we sync, it's me who always asks what day or what time your experience happened. And you usually tell me, but not w/out adding that you don't think that it's that important what day or time, since time is a mirage anyway(agreed, just can't help myself from asking though). My point, none really! Just pleased me to see you offer up the day...thanks. I had been thinking about posting the lake fairy story for about two weeks before I actually posted it.

Always a pleasure syncing up w/you sista! clink Can't wait to do it again.I just know that you'll get that detailed visit from a fairy, what kind of fairy wouldn't grant a person so in touch w/nature as you are, a visit? I think that the mere fact that you have such a strong connection & respect for nature makes you a favorite in their crowd already. Good luck, I know it will come for you. treehug

Much Love & Blessings, hug
~Jaim~

P.S. I did actually post this under the "I saw a Fairy" thread but it doesn't always pop up under that thread, it goes directly back to the "Curious about fleeing A Haunted House" thread insted. However, when I checked both threads, I found all my recent post on both threads, just thought I'd let ya know.

OK, so since I have taken a small break from my computer life for the last 5 or 6 weeks, I've felt compelled to post some stuff that should have been posted a long time ago. Problem is, I'm the biggest procrastinator in the world. My theory - procrastinate today...don't put it off 'til tomorrow! LOL☻

So this video I'm about to post is of a fairy that looks very similar to the first fairy I ever saw, the one on old Elm ST. mentioned above. To be honest it's hard to find the differences between the two, all except for the wings. The fairy I saw (I've named her Elma the Elm Fairy since I spotted her on a beautiful Elm tree on Elm ST), had more solid looking wings, they almost looked like elm leaves, but kind of iridescent. Whereas the fairy in this video has more dragonfly-like wings which look almost totally see-through. I could see through Elma's wings, but not as well as I can see through this fairy's wings. And again, Elma's wings were much larger in comparison & like I said, shaped somewhat like Elm leaves. Oh, it never occurred to me before this, but maybe the reason Elma's wings didn't look as transparent as this fairy's wings, is because it is daytime in the video & I saw Elma at night but near the light of a streetlamp. Either way, the shape of the wings still differed a bit & then there's the gossamer dress. Elma was wearing a very light looking sheer tan gossamer dress. Flowy, but not a lot. It ended just before the tops of her low-set knees. Which brings me to the biggest & most important reason that I decided to post this video...THE KNEES! In the above posts, I mentioned that both the Elm fairy & the Lake Snow fairy (I like to call her Willow, since she kind of reminded me of a Pussy Willow's fuzzy tip) had disproportionate knees. They both seemed to have extra elongated femur bones, & unusually low knees, which of course left the tibia/fibula bones looking very short (shorter than ours anyway). Oh and another thing about the knees, the Patella part of the knee seemed square & a bit clunky. That's what caught my eye in this video, the low clunky knees.

I'm not sure if the fairy in this video is real or not, it could very well be a CG hoax. But I will say this, the distinct sound that I described the fairy making with her wings, the one that sounds "so different from the sound of any other type of wings" is the sound you hear when this UK fairy flaps her wings. Whether or not that means this fairy is real, I can't positively say. But I guess I tend to lean a bit towards believing she's real. Those knees & that flutter are the two most exact similarities in all three of them. I guess I'm biased though, as I have reason to be. Once you've seen one up close, it's hard to discount them...in any case!

Here's the video to the UK fairy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTCy7RAPOfU

I'm also going to attach a picture of Alisa's. In the photo of this giraffe, which happens to be my favorite animal & my believed Totem (animal spirit guide - hey with my height topping off at 5FT 1IN, it doesn't hurt to have guides in high places!). Anyway, in this pic of the giraffe I spotted my first 'film fairy'. It was also the first time that I highlighted anything. Notice in the pic, the placement of the knees. If the format will allow, I'll post both the highlighted version & the original so you can see if you can actually see it w/out the highlighting as I did. I like to call this one The Piper, since it seems to be holding either a wand or a flute. Also this fairy seems to lend a male tone to the enchantment, I think he's a boy fairy.

ENJOY! bwave

Well I must say I burst out laughing when the guy and kids started running he was like "ugh" LOL!!!! that was so funny to me. I don't know why he ran anyway I mean it wasn't creepy at all. I would have stayed and talked to it or even tried to touch it. Boy that father seems like a little coward I mean would he run away from a dragonfly?

Ok, now to the fairy part well, It was cool looking and indeed it does resemble a dragonfly. That's how they probably camouflage themselves. I probably would have mistaken it for one if I wasn't recording it. When the fairy is laying on it's back on the tree I thought it looked smooshed or stuck, but I was relieved when it popped up! It might have been sleeping. It does look CGI while laying down, but it seems real enough when it flies to the camera.

I paused it and took a real examination of it and I must say it looks like a hybrid of a dragonfly and a fairy. I know that there is different types of fairies, so this one could be related more to the insect family. I mean the legs look like the skinny twig legs of bugs. Which brings me to the knees just incredible! I don't doubt that this wasn't a fairy especially since I know you, a eye witness who mention how a fairy look almost identical to the one on the video.

This must be such a huge validation for you JimJam! not saying that it wasn't when you seen the fairies for the first two times, but that you actually have credible footage on film to what you describe before. Did the fairies you saw have hair? I know this one didn't and this one wasn't the mystical Tinkerbell looking creature like so many people describe.

great video one of the best I seen so far about fairies on youtube. Thanks for showing. By the way do you live in the UK as well?

I edited to say never mind I see the Michigan under your avatar but where did you see the two fairies was it there or out the country?

holycow What an amazing video!

I am going to look at it more closely and will post any results I get to point out reasons why I think it is real...as I do think it is real.

I also laughed when the Dad made that sound of revulsion and ran, but I have to admit, I would have done the same thing (even though I'd have kicked myself over and over afterwards). So I hope, like Jaime, you get to see one or photograph/film one like this Queenie, so you can do a level-headed job. coolpeace

This is me ---> yikes... run...drop camera...doh

Very insect like and yet human, too. A freaky combo.

You GO JAIME!!! Thank you for sharing! highfive I have an even more amazing idea of what Elma looks like now. Wow.

ha ha teehee Alisa your smileys are awesome they perfectly tell your emotions to a T. Good choice thumbsup it's like playing the game pictionary! I do hope maybe one day in the (cross fingers) pray very near future that I do encounter a real fairy personally. That would be so amazing and life changing as well. I know that it is possible since I, me of all people saw three UFO's, but unfortunately I doubt it will occur since I live in a high populated urban city sigh one can dream tough dreamy right? I guess I'll have to live vicariously through you two for a while xoxo!! lips

OrbQueen,

The dad, hystericalI know...priceless.But you know how some people are, afraid of the unknown. paranoid

CGI, I really didn't get that feel from it, but I'm certainly no expert. I guess I could totally see something like that being CGIed, I just don't think that this was. But I've been wrong about things like this before. Ya know, believe that something is absolutely real, only to find out that someone had come along & exposed it as a hoax.I guess we'll never really know if this is a real fairy, but I feel that it is. I'm glad you do too, I think the more we believe, the more we see.

Hybrid dragonfly fairy eh? I could see that. I read somewhere that each living thing in nature has a specific fairy who represents it & helps look after it. For example, tree fairies, flower fairies, foliage fairies. So why not fairies that represent insects? Without the insects, the pollens would never reach their counterparts. Certain plant/flower/fruit foliage would never be cross pollinated. So I could actually see fairies respecting insects holding them in very high esteem, since the insects also take care of nature. Great analysis OQ. Oh, and you've just reminded me of a picture that I snagged off the Internet to use as a screen saver about a year and a half ago. I posted it here in the forums somewhere, but it would just be easier for me to upload it w/this post, rather than trying to direct you to the thread. When I showed it to Alisa, she saw a dragonfly. When I looked at it I saw a fairy with what looks to be an old-fashioned pilots helmet on, like the one Amelia Earhart wore, I can even see little flying goggles.I do realize that the pictures that come after the fairy pic on that website are pics of dragonflies, but the first one you see on that website looks more like a fairy...to me anyway. Tell me what you see OQ. But now that you mentioned the hybrid possibility, I think Alisa & I may have both been right. Here's the link...

www.ruggenberg.nl/fairies/index.html (the first pic after you click the link is the pic I was referring to)

omgoshI know, those legs right? When I found this video, I'm sure the look on my face was similar to someone who had just seen a ghost. I think I probably watched that video 50 times that night feeling so validated. Yes indeedy, very validating! holmes

Hair, hmm, that's a great question scratchhead. I wish I could give you a definite answer, but the first fairy I saw was up in the tree too high for me to see hair in the darkness of night. Maybe if I had spotted her in daylight I would have been able to take note of it. The second fairy I saw at the lake, was just at eye level, so I was able to see what looked to be red scraggly hair, but it kind of looked sparse.

Glad you liked the video, I think it's the best one I've seen too.

Yep Michigan, born & raised. I saw both fairies in Michigan, I've never been out of the country, except for Canada. The first fairy was in Wyandotte MI & the second was in Pinckney MI. tinkerbell

Oh, and what did you think about the fairy in the picture of the giraffe? Can you spot it without the highlighting?

thumbupThanks Alisa! I'm glad you liked it. It is quite amazing isn't it? I have to admit, I became a bit obsessive with watching this video, most of the on-line hits for this vid are probably just from me watching it so many times. I couldn't believe that someone actually caught this on tape, so close to what I only had the pleasure of witnessing. I look at this video as a way of saying "OK, cool , so it wasn't just me". I wish I would have seen them that close up, but I'm happy w/my experiences the way they turned out.

scratchchinI'd love to hear what makes this video real for you. I know what makes it real for me, but I'd like to hear your opinion on what features seem most real to you.

I don't know Alisa, I think you would have put your uneasy feeling behind you long enough to try to get a better look, or to try to communicate w/it. I think your initial shock would have been replaced by the need to learn & become aware. But I have to agree w/you on the screamming. If I saw this lil gem face to face like the dad in the vid, I surely would have screamed like a little girl & ran panic nailbiting...about 2-3 ft. Then I would have turned back around sneaking & tried to communicate hiya or at least tried to get a better look magnify. But first initial reaction that up close & personal - hide "Ahhhhh, what the hell is that!" Then, "Wait come back!".yay4

I thought the dad's reaction seemed so genuine. Although a bit funny, I believe it to be an authentic reaction to something like that. Also, another thing that makes me believe in this video, is the reaction of the kids. They were nothing but a faint memory in 2 seconds flat! They didn't even stick around long enough to make sure dad made it out , laughing2they were outty!

Another thing that intrigued me, was the speed with which she flew & the quick turn around she made when she came back & flew by the camera before the vid ends. I know that insects can fly fast, but this fairy is here, then down in the foliage, then u-turns & is back in the shot of the camera before you can even blink. Not to mention, she also seems to have a faint glow to her as she's flying. None of this is PROOF that she's real, just validation for me I guess. But I couldn't have asked for better validation & IMO I do believe she's real.

Oh how I wish I could have gotten a picture of Elma. You would have been shocked to see the similarities. I really must make a concentrated effort to carry my trusty camera at all times.

Orby, I wish I had your gumption. You sound very level-headed. thumbup

I'm glad you got a kick outta this Alisa, it's a gem.

yep I sure can spot the fairy!!! great highlighting job by the way!!! ha I actually did see those pictures on the internet a while back. I really don't know how I came upon that probably while looking up fairy stuff too;) but yes what I see is dragonflies even the first picture. I think the author was just fascinated with them that she calls them fairies. Like they are the fairies of the insect world. But I do see where it does look like it has a helmet on great observation thumbup I actually thought that when I first saw it to tell the truth great minds must think alike right? content so you saw both fairies in Michigan are those areas in the country part of the state?
