Fiona Hartigan was snapping some sunset photos with her phone camera when she saw and captured several photos of a flying black disc-shaped object. Read Story
Mr Moffett, a spokesperson for UFO Research NSW, said there were between 1000 and 1500 UFO sightings in Australia every year, "but that is just the tip of the iceberg".
"Why would anyone make these stories up? They are setting themselves up for ridicule," he said.
cool story! and what a synchroncity it is for me because the spokesperson's name is my last name LOL! how crazy is that?1!! spelled the same way too and it's such a uncommon name at that. I haven't met anyone with my last name that wasn't ken to me and I know of a few people with that last named spelled differently like a A instead of a E or a I or one T instead of two. I know I'm going on and on so I'll stop here I just thought it was irony since I'm dealing with the UFO's recently
PS: was that three of them in the picture? the big one and two in the right corner? funny cause three was the exact number I saw of them hmmm very interesting! great pictures!!

OQueen - I was totally thinking about you when I posted this story about the ufo(s) especially after noticing 3 in that first photo! Just like your experience!
How freaky-amazing-synchronistic about the last name, too!! Out of the various articles that I chose to link to, that this one mentioned Moffett! And the same spelling! I love it!
Any more sightings or related experiences? What are you thinking now that some time has passed? Do you find yourself scanning the skies?
