I rarely capture things in flight in my photos. A few times (out of hundreds) I've captured a bird.

This photo was taken this morning. Usually I note if there are airplanes so I won't get all excited by spotting something in the air in my photo, when it is only an airplane. So I don't think this is an airplane. I'm pretty sure it is not. I can see it possibly being a bird, but I'd have to think a big bird like a duck, and there are no ducks around.

I can't rule out that it's not a bird. But I feel it could be something more (like a UFO unseen by my eyes, but captured by my camera). eyebrows

Nonetheless, it is fun to consider. (All are larger images if you choose to click-view them).

Interesting that the air appears disturbed around it enough to show up as a colour when filtered.

Kinda look like a planet with a the ring around it. In the first photo I thought it was a bird with it's wings flapping, but after viewing all the other photos especially the embossed one, It definitely isn't a bird. So there you have it you caught your self a true UFO! we can't identify it can we? so yay to a UFO!!! that's what I think it is and I'm sticking to it great capture camera2

Thanks for the feedback OQ! It may have an ordinary explanation, bird but it is still wondrous and as you said, unidentified! Thanks for the enthusiasm and support! cheer
