Abstract: During fabrication, assembly, and testing of spacecraft and flight hardware it is vital to avoid contaminants that can cause degradation and could result in significant failure. Yet, there is no existing contamination monitoring method that provides the identity of airborne particles in a cleanroom facility. Knowing the particle identities, would allow scientists and engineers to determine the source of the contaminants and prevent setbacks before they occur or cause damage. Current cleanline...
