This is an unfinished thought that occurred to me the other day. I haven't worked it all out in my mind as to if it's significant or just folly.

The subject of spirits and vampires with fangs:

What are fangs for?
Snakes use them to inject
Vampires use them to extract

What do spirits use them for?
I'm pondering on both above uses as the situation calls for.
~Inject the idea and/or knowledge of their existence
Or extracting the disbelief.
~Of course, if it's malevolent, then it could be injecting negativity and extracting positive energies.
~Or as Alisa said in an early post something like, they may use the fangs for effect like a show of strength or power.

Like I said, this is a loose unfinished thought.
I post it for your perusal and to add your thoughts too.

Wow, I love this topic! And I love your thoughts on it and agree with them. Once again, you open new doors for me every time you express a thought. I just marvel...

I have so many references in my journal to fangs/bites (too many to share them all). A lot of them actually have to do with spiders (fear). It is interesting when the symbol of fangs began to appear in my spirit quest and my struggle to understand them and overcome these preconceived concepts. Because really, we are born with a fear of fangs, aren't we? It's not like we need to be bitten to know that it means danger. But the ultimate fear is that the bite will lead to death (so it is really a fear of death in the end, I think).

Fang biting also makes me think of the vampire genre that is so huge right now, and how I've seen people get tattoos that look like bites on their neck and how some people really find it desirable and erotic - the thought of being bitten by a vampire. Maybe overcoming the fear of bite (death) leads to immortality.

I have intentions of posting my experience from last night's altered state (if I have the energy) in which I experienced aliens (reptilians) with small pointed teeth. I felt that the teeth were meant to look forboding, but because they were small, though there were a lot of them, they couldn't do much harm. So there's this additional synchronistic example of fang symbology as well. Actually, over the last 24 hours, it's been teeth/fangs popping up everywhere in my reality. I'm sync'in with ya, Dawn!

The funny thing about spiders in dreams is they have a broad range of interpretations from fear to goodness.

Let me just say that I believe that dream symbols are very personal and what means fear to one person maybe joy to another person...

I have a dream book that translate most symbols into something dark or negative because the book was written in the 'olden' days. I got a kick out of it's spider meaning.
Basically according to it, Spiders are a bad thing to dream except... gold spiders and apparently gold spiders crawling on you or interacting with you are signs of positive things to come. lol
Isn't that odd? I wonder why gold spiders would be a positive.
I think it's rather humorous to ponder on as to why they thought that way back then.

Yeah, that is strange! Because I would still be freaked out by a gold spider. I even dreamed of a huge white spider and of ones that were totally transparent. Come to think of it, the transparent ones did scare me less. No, I do not mean invisible. They looked like large gummy (bear) spiders.

I think I saw them invisible gummy spiders on a movie recently... man you talk about something that was creepy to the 10th power...
Maybe it was the color gold that is the good part.
I enjoy the books from the olden days, you rarely know what they were thinking and it gives me food for thought. lol
