Ever doubted Murphys Law or Gremlins exist?<br /><br />Okay I will make you a believer read on.<br /><br />I was booked to leave for Athens Monday 14th June. Ran short of time finishing another 6.5 M antenna so moved the flight to 17th (Thu).<br /><br />On Wed night (16th) travelling home, the M2 freeway was stopped (no big deal). When I looked in the rear view mirror, I saw a transit van at very fast speed approaching. I looked to duck off to the left (was in the right) could not get out of its way, then BANG.<br /><br />Hit us at about 70 km/h. A Mazda van ran up the back of the transit van. They were both written off by the insurance companies. I only had a bent tow bar and the front seat was reclined (by the hard impact). Never the less I left one car length from me to the car infront, so I was not sandwiched. It worked 20 mins later I was driving home again.<br /><br />Decided to put trip off until 22nd (Tue) just expecting neck or other problems. Was a bit sore but better over the weekend.<br /><br />Arrived airport to Business Class checkin. Hmmm no record of me on the flight... What was worse no seats from Bahrain to Athens (ok Sydney to Singapore, and Singapore to Bahrain). Waited about 30 mins and was able to secure business seats from Bahrain to Athens.<br /><br />Left Sydney 15 mins late at 22:00. Arrived in Singapore 4:45 am local. Announcement transit passengers to ahrain stay onboard.<br /><br />Hmmm 5 mins later another announcement all passengers please leave the aircraft, delayed for 5.5 hours. New departure 09:45 local.<br /><br />But I only have 1 hour rest in Bahrain to Athens, so I miss my connection.<br /><br />Still waiting to hear what will happen, but as Bahrain to Athens is only once a day, I bet I will be stuck in Bahrain for 24 hours.<br /><br />I get the feeling I am not supposed to get to Athens very easily <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/default/frown.gif" /> <br /><br />More later...

More...<br /><br />Its now 08:13 Sinagpore time. We leave at 09:30 for Bahrain with as you guessed a 24 hours layover.<br /><br />Oh well a good time to site see I think...<br /><br />Until my next update somewhere on the planet <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/default/smile.gif" />

Update...<br /><br />Its currently Friday 25/6 at 16:36 Athens (23:41 Sydney).<br /><br />Arrived in Greece about 14:00 Thursday.<br /><br />Its a lovely 32 degrees today. Shortly it will be time to enjoy another Heineken and have a swim I think.
