Well I never stop buying printers and my latest parked next to my Canon i865 is the Epson photo R310.<br />Its a stand alone printer, It does not need a computer for printing Photos, its very simple to use just plug your sd card from your camera in the slot then either select Basic or Advanced on the LCD for your settings+ a few other minor changes and you go for it. <br />Its the best quality I've ever seen FULL STOP.<br />Phil

And it does DVD's to like the Canon, but slower on Text

i got the epson r310 as well. very cool. especially if you using epson photo paper.

I tried a glossy A4 last night on High res and I cannot believe the quality for an inkjet printer. See I bought the printer from ???????? and I told the guy I would advertise it on the forum for him for a good price but when I went to the shop to pick it up he wanted to charged me $7.50 for the printer cable.<br />Every printer I've ever bought they gave me the cable for nothing even if they wanted $$$$. <br />Arrrghhhhh well he got more money out of me but I won't be advertising the shop on this site.<br />PS he sold me a 3M cable and he is an EPSON Dealer, the Epson R310 MUST NOT USE A CABLE OVER 2M.<br />Phil
