SUMMARY OF 800 AM PDT...1500 UTC...INFORMATION ---------------------------------------------- LOCATION...19.3N 134.1W ABOUT 1575 MI...2535 KM W OF THE SOUTHERN TIP OF BAJA CALIFORNIA MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS...35 MPH...55 KM/H PRESENT MOVEMENT...W OR 270 DEGREES AT 13 MPH...20 KM/H MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE...1009 MB...29.80 INCHES WATCHES AND WARNINGS -------------------- There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect. DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 800 AM PDT (1500 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone Seven-E was located near latitude 19.3 North, longitude 134.1 West. The post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the west near 13 mph (20 km/h), and a turn toward the west-southwest is expected by Wednesday. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Weakening is forecast, and the post-tropical cyclone is expected to dissipate Wednesday or Wednesday night. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1009 mb (29.80 inches). HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND ---------------------- None.
