Small magnitude 3.3 quake hits 25 miles southeast of King Salmon, Alaska, United States around noon

Just 8 minutes ago, a 3.3-magnitude earthquake struck near King Salmon, Bristol Bay County, Alaska, USA. The tremor was recorded around noon on Monday 18 January 2021 at 12:43 pm local time, at an intermediate to considerable depth of 111 miles below the surface.
The event was filed by the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the first seismological agency to report it.
Our monitoring service identified a second report from the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) which listed the quake at magnitude 3.3 as well.
According to preliminary calculations, we do not expect that the quake was felt by many people and did not cause any damage. In King Salmon (pop. 370, 25 miles away), South Naknek (pop. 79, 34 miles away), and Egegik (pop. 110, 38 miles away), the quake was probably not felt.
