A magnitude 3.0 earthquake near Eagle River, Anchorage County, Alaska, USA, was reported only 7 minutes ago by the United States Geological Survey (USGS), considered the key international and national agency that monitors seismic activity in the US. The earthquake occurred at a shallow depth of 12 miles beneath the epicenter in the morning on Monday 25 January 2021 at 11:01 am local time.
