Just 9 minutes ago, a 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck near Central, Yukon-Koyukuk County, Alaska, USA. The tremor was recorded after midnight on Monday 25 January 2021 at 12:08 am local time, at a shallow depth of 6.9 miles below the surface.
The event was filed by the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the first seismological agency to report it.
A second report was later issued by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), which listed it as a magnitude 3.0 earthquake as well.
