Moderate yet deep earthquake of magnitude 5.2 just reported 41 km south of Khorugh, Tajikistan

Just 14 minutes ago, a 5.2-magnitude earthquake struck near Khorugh, Nohijai Şuƣnon, Gorno-Badakhshan, Tajikistan. The tremor was recorded after midnight on Monday 25 January 2021 at 12:01 am local time, at an intermediate depth of 107 km below the surface.
The event was filed by the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ), the first seismological agency to report it.
A second report was later issued by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), which listed it as a magnitude 5.1 earthquake.
Based on the preliminary seismic data, the quake should not have caused any significant damage, but was probably felt by many people as light vibration in the area of the epicenter.
Weak shaking might have been felt in Khorugh (pop. 30,000) located 41 km from the epicenter, Ishqoshim (pop. 26,000) 45 km away, Ashkāsham (pop. 12,100) 50 km away, Khandūd (pop. 5,500) 64 km away, Jurm (pop. 12,100) 77 km away, and Fayzabad (pop. 44,400) 93 km away.
