Small magnitude 3.4 quake hits 28 miles southeast of Denali National Park, Alaska, United States after midnight 3.4 quake 29 Mar 12:25 am (GMT -8) The United States Geological Survey reported a magnitude 3.4 quake in the United States near Denali National Park, Denali, Alaska, only 7 minutes ago. The earthquake hit after midnight on Monday 29 March 2021 at 12:25 am local time at a very shallow depth of miles. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
Our monitoring service identified a second report from the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) which listed the quake at magnitude 3.4 as well.
Towns or cities near the epicenter where the quake might have been felt as very weak shaking include Denali National Park (pop. 220) located 28 miles from the epicenter.
