An intermediate to deep magnitude 4.5 earthquake was reported in the evening near Ishqoshim, Ishkoshim, Gorno-Badakhshan, Tajikistan.
According to India's National Center for Seismology (NCS), the quake hit on Sunday, November 14th, 2021, at 9:47 pm local time at an intermediate to considerable depth of 191 km. The strength of the earthquake may have been tempered by its relative great depth below the surface, which makes it feel weaker in absolute terms.
