The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported a magnitude 4.7 quake in Indonesia near Sinabang, Kabupaten Simeulue, Aceh, only 18 minutes ago. The earthquake hit around noon on Wednesday, June 22nd, 2022, at 1:48 pm local time at a shallow depth of 25 km. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
