An earthquake of magnitude 3.5 occurred only 14 minutes ago 19 miles northeast of Jackson, Wyoming, United States, the United States Geological Survey reported.
The quake hit at a very shallow depth of 3.1 miles beneath the epicenter near Jackson, Teton County, Wyoming, USA, early evening on Saturday, February 11th, 2023, at 6:22 pm local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
A second report was later issued by The Incorporated Research Institutions for Seismology (IRIS), which listed it as a magnitude 3.5 earthquake as well.
