Small magnitude 3.1 quake hits 32 km southwest of Dos Hermanas, Spain around noon

Just 22 minutes ago, a 3.1-magnitude earthquake struck near Dos Hermanas, Seville, Andalusia, Spain. The tremor was recorded around noon on Sunday, September 10th, 2023, at 12:47 pm local time, at a shallow depth of 29 km below the surface.
The event was filed by Spain's Instituto Geográfico Nacional (IGN), the first seismological agency to report it.
A second report was later issued by the Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (Instituto Português do Mar e da Atmosfera, IPMA), which listed it as a magnitude 3.3 earthquake. A third agency, the citizen-seismograph network of RaspberryShake, reported the same quake at magnitude 3.2.
Towns or cities near the epicenter where the quake might have been felt as very weak shaking include Lebrija (pop. 26,400) located 11 km from the epicenter, and Las Cabezas de San Juan (pop. 16,500) 12 km away. In Los Palacios y Villafranca (pop. 36,800, 20 km away), Coria del Rio (pop. 28,100, 30 km away), Utrera (pop. 50,700, 31 km away), Dos Hermanas (pop. 122,900, 32 km away), Sanlucar de Barrameda (pop. 65,800, 37 km away), Jerez de la Frontera (pop. 207,500, 38 km away), and Sevilla (pop. 703,200, 41 km away), the quake was probably not felt.
