Small magnitude 3.8 quake hits 37 km southeast of Athens, Greece early morning

The National Observatory of Athens (NOA) reported a magnitude 3.8 quake in Greece near Athens, Nomarchía Athínas, Attica, only 21 minutes ago. The earthquake hit early morning on Friday, October 13th, 2023, at 6:33 am local time at a shallow depth of 13.4 km. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
A second report was later issued by the Kandilli Oservatory and Earthquake Research Institute in Istanbul (KOERI-RETMC), which listed it as a magnitude 3.6 earthquake. Other agencies reporting the same quake include the citizen-seismograph network of RaspberryShake at magnitude 3.8, and The Seismological Survey of Serbia (SSS) at magnitude 3.9.
Based on the preliminary seismic data, the quake should not have caused any significant damage, but was probably felt by many people as light vibration in the area of the epicenter.
Weak shaking might have been felt in Vénio Daskaleiou (pop. 56) located 5 km from the epicenter.
