A former EU envoy to Gaza is facing backlash for reportedly enabling Hamas to experiment with paragliders. Sven Kühn von Burgsdorff, a German diplomat, created a video claiming to conduct the "first Gaza paragliding flight in history," while shouting "Free Palestine!" and criticizing Israel's response to Hamas. The paraglider used in the stunt belonged to von Burgsdorff, and he has continued to express opposition to Israel's actions in Gaza even after leaving his post.
