Isro successfully maneuvered India's Aditya-L1 space probe into a halo orbit around the Sun-Earth Lagrange's Point 1 (L1). Isro will perform periodic maneuvers to keep the spacecraft in the intended orbit so that it can employ its seven payloads to study the Sun. The suit of Aditya L1 payloads will provide crucial information to understand coronal heating, Coronal Mass Ejection (CME), and space weather. Understanding space weather is important as it affects the functioning of space assets and can cause disturbances in the near Earth space environment.
