Had India won the ODI World Cup in November last year, there was a serious possibility that Rohit and Virat Kohli would probably have skipped the T20 World Cup. Sources close to the team management had indicated that it was the disappointment of Nov 19, 2023 that pushed them to carry on for that sense of closure.
