The German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) reported a magnitude 5.3 quake in Russia near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Kamchatka, only 12 minutes ago. The earthquake hit in the morning on Sunday, August 18th, 2024, at 9:27 am local time at a shallow depth of 10 km.
