Hi im frm brissie. i have a satelite dish pointed straight to asia sat 2.. this is not pay tv or such... we brought the dish (c-band) its pretty large.. but because there is 2 palm trees on each side of the dish dont no how many satelites i could pick... its allways has been on asia sat-2 so okies we install it 4 years ago.. when the guys install this by a satellite company we could pick up the whole package on asia sat 2 recently over the years the asian channels and beauter channel and fashion channel has disapeaered and the screen ch number says error or broken. Okies to better understand i presume some channels has been moved around correct? could anyone with asia sat 2 gives us a full interesting channel frequencies for us to search and scan ? i read around the forum someone gave out the frequencity for fashion tv... i wrote that numbers down and sudently it came up by suprise i thought the palm trees where blocking a fiew things... all we pick up are:
DW-TV (GERMANY)
TV5 ASIE (FRANCE)
RAI INT' (ITALY)
TVE INT' (SPAIN)
RTB INT' (PORTUGAL)
FASHION TV (FRANCE)
3channel from the middle east... one looks like religion.

okies thats about it what we get.... dont no why the athers are no longer there... considering asia sat 2 has more channels? even american channel? let us know the name of the channel available with the full frequencie for i to add the number and scan allso each one to what HO or VER?

thank you.

thanks lazersat... ive been to the site many times but looks confuseing for me to know witch are the frequencity and the sym rate.. Okies for u to beter understand the box i own is call Pacific satellite-DSR3000
When i use the remote control i go to menu/channel setupchannel frequencie from there it shows a page wih things... okies sat: asia sat-2 bouquet: ESPN (with this one whatever its available names i cant rename them because its already there) then there is frequency: 03700 sym rate: 27500 Polarity: Ver 14v FEC: 3/4 Okies this gives u a rough idea of my screen display on the tv, so for a sample i want to see if real madrid soccer channel i type the frequencie and the sym rate correct? i type that and it sorta tries to search but then 8 seconds NO SIGNAL... okies.. the channels i get as i mention above i see them but if i can see these i should allso be abble to get everything that offers asia sat 2 but im not? well we use to when it frst install... 2 years later channels where dead and only a fiew where available.. hmmm so allright am i doing something wrong by tpeing the frequency numbers and the sym rate numbers? with that page u gave me to view dosnt say where to type the numbers dont no what to type on the sym rate or do i need to do something more? i just thought i let the profetional guys on this forum to help me better and i preciate your help if posible. thanks

Once again i try my best... okies from that channel tuning were im explaning before there is allso a button call LNB SETTINGS. aswell LNB display such as: A1 the A1 seems lid up oversly because we watch spain tv and these europe tv channels... when i visit that site u just explain it contains the frequency but allso tp A1 or A2 or so on.... dont i have to go thru the lnd settings and type numbers there or something aswell? after all dont no why all channels are nnot listed but it used to be when it was new 4 years ago until a lighting strike near by and had to change the power supply on the box DSR3000

can you tell me why im not getting signals from what im searching for? supppose the thing where it says A1 and all has to be lid up but only A1 is fine and in the lnd settings has numbers for only A1.. and when i go lnd settings there is low and high single or ver numbers display but thats about it... could you explain and help on this maybe thats the case why im not getting all the channels because in there its empty and no number displays before scanning oversly i think..

thanks

LNB Settings stay the same for all satellites

the reason why u cant pick up some signals might be cause ur getting some kind of interfearance perhaps from the UNWIRED Internet Service??

unwired internet? the satellite dish we own has nothing to do with the internet.. infact i know how the cables are sent up no wear near my broadband cable... has nothing to do with that... you may be thinking foxtel or pay tv netorks.. our satellite is nothing like that it is just free to air channels whatever its available on these satellites of course... if i can get these channels i said then i should be abble to get more... just 2 years ago slowly the all asian channels dosnt seem to work... but it was there on the menu channels... the cable from the dish goes straight inside thehouse the box that goes on top of the tv... no ather conections or internet with that the dish we have is one of these large black once c-band..

who to call for an inspection to visit here and let us know the problem or fix it.. someone not too expensive i wouldnt be suprise if they charge me just fr them to test it only... a website would be great to get the details for brisbane.

thank you

Ok for the LND SETTINGS what numbers should be display from low and high (single or ver) to 22v or 14v on or off..

these just the seting menus there...

if i see the low numbers and the high numbers the same as you said then no problem... and thats on (A1) only
all the A2 and so on leter number are all empty nothing in there but its there waiting to be type a number for C3 and so on..

apologies to this but if i can get the numbers there then i dont really need an inspection or els the guys would say a different story and such for i to pay them more oversly... wouldnt think mr antenna has to do nothing with asia sat 2 and ather satellites..

[ 28. thanks once more.. im only new t the forum but i am highly interested with the dish and picking up channels oversly like u would do too

hmm im not sure i cant remember what the guys said but i believe its a about 3metre dish its oone of these large metal dish that you can see thru and it has a logo in the middle call satellite pacific. the lnd thats in the middle of the dish is white colour sorta a flat white shape.. on top of that i brought a nose cap for that... what it does is it actually protects the lnd thing and allso good when there are planes passing thru the line with interfiering... it works tho that cost me about 30.00 for the large nose cap.

I dont no what satellites i could pick up here been in brisbane south. hmmm i know asia sat2 well but pitty cant get more then the once ive said.. its frustration when no signal on the once i scan... Woud you tell me all the satellites that is available for free oversly for brisbane?

allso i just cant movce the dish how i want right? suppose you need some sort of remoter with something els that knows where to look for the satellites available from my area.. well i dont no..

could you give me a rough extimate how much this would actually cost me if i ask the guys to put the dish near the roof? one guy ages ago came around for free no charge just to inspct how it is posible to have this large dish on the roof.. well my roof is tint and if they put it there the roof may collaps. so okies he said upstairs level of the outside house all is wood downstairs level is briek.. and yes its posible all they do is put a long pipe connected beside the wall and make a small hole beide the roof side so that the dish goes up and connect from the pipe... but didnt told me the price i dont think.... if i do this i would expect to have a remote for it because its usefull if i wnt to search ather satellites... would this cost me over a thousand dollars? what would i need .. i ask you because maybe you have this and you may allready know how its done and price.. i dont no but aniways its C-BAND digital the dish coast us about 3,000.00 and the reciever well it was around 500 to 800.00 digital one of course that came with the dish. hmmm strange tho that the receiver says can pick up teletex... but never seen teletex on all channels... alls picks up radio stations aswell witch is good but we allways watch the european channels live.. well i hope its live unless it ends up going to a studio in australia for editing.

let me know thanks for communicating me with this. and thanks for the link you have provided.

ill be around waiting for a reply
