Small magnitude 2.6 quake hits 5 km southeast of Bar, Montenegro early morning

Just 15 minutes ago, a 2.6-magnitude earthquake struck near Bar, Montenegro. The tremor was recorded early morning on Friday, October 18th, 2024, at 1:18 am local time, at a shallow depth of 11 km below the surface.
The event was filed by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the first seismological agency to report it.
A second report was later issued by The Seismological Survey of Serbia (SSS), which listed it as a magnitude 2.8 earthquake.
