Just 5 minutes ago, a 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck near Tatitlek, Valdez-Cordova, Alaska, USA. The tremor was recorded after midnight on Wednesday, November 13th, 2024, at 12:07 am local time, at a shallow depth of 12 miles below the surface.
The event was filed by the United States Geological Survey, the first seismological agency to report it.
Based on the preliminary seismic data, the quake should not have caused any significant damage, but was probably felt by many people as light vibration in the area of the epicenter.
