A magnitude 3.6 earthquake near Cosenza, Calabria, Italy, was reported only 17 minutes ago by Italy's National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV), considered the main national agency that monitors seismic activity in Italy. The earthquake occurred at an intermediate to considerable depth of 278.30 km beneath the epicenter early afternoon on Thursday, February 6th, 2025, at 2:42 pm local time.
