Maharashtra Samajwadi Party chief Abu Azmi has requested the revocation of his suspension from the Assembly. He claims his statements on Mughal ruler Aurangzeb were misinterpreted and taken out of context. Azmi maintains that his comments were historically accurate and not intended to be controversial.
