Moderate 4.0 quake hits near Cartago, Valle del Cauca, Colombia

An intermediate magnitude 4.0 earthquake was reported in the evening near Cartago, Valle del Cauca, Colombia.
According to The Colombian Geological Service (SGC), the quake hit on Monday, March 31st, 2025, at 9:04 pm local time at an intermediate depth of 80. km. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
