Just 6 minutes ago, a 5.3-magnitude earthquake struck near Culpina K, Departamento de Potosi, Bolivia. The tremor was recorded early morning on Thursday, July 3rd, 2025, at 1:41 am local time, at an intermediate to considerable depth of 220.90 km below the surface.
The event was filed by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the first seismological agency to report it.
A second report was later issued by the citizen-seismograph network of RaspberryShake, which listed it as a magnitude 5.4 earthquake. A third agency, the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ), reported the same quake at magnitude 5.4.
