Moderate magnitude 4.4 quake hits 44 miles southeast of Cantwell, Alaska, United States in the afternoon

An earthquake of magnitude 4.4 occurred in the afternoon on Wednesday, August 13th, 2025, at 5:29 pm local time near Cantwell, Denali, Alaska, USA, as reported by the United States Geological Survey.
