Small magnitude 2.4 quake hits 9 km northwest of Granada, Spain in the evening

A very shallow magnitude 2.4 earthquake was reported in the evening near Granada, Andalusia, Spain.
According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the quake hit on Sunday, October 26th, 2025, at 9:10 pm local time at a very shallow depth of 3.20 km. Shallow earthquakes are felt more strongly than deeper ones as they are closer to the surface.
