Small magnitude 3.2 quake hits 7 miles southwest of Concord, California, United States in the morning

A shallow magnitude 3.2 earthquake was reported in the morning near Concord, Contra Costa County, California, USA.
According to the United States Geological Survey, the quake hit on Sunday, October 26th, 2025, at 7:29 am local time at a shallow depth of 9.9 miles. Shallow earthquakes are felt more strongly than deeper ones as they are closer to the surface.
