For the eastern and central North Pacific east of 180 longitude:

1. Central East Pacific:
An area of low pressure located more than 500 miles south of the
southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula is producing a broad
area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms. While earlier
satellite wind data indicated the system has a well-defined
circulation, environmental conditions do not appear that favorable
for much additional development as the system moves slowly westward
over the central part of the East Pacific during the next few days.
