Small magnitude 3.2 earthquake 22 km southeast of Paphos, Cyprus An earthquake of magnitude 3.2 occurred only 27 minutes ago 22 km southeast of Paphos, Cyprus, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported. The quake hit at a shallow depth of 10.60 km beneath the epicenter near Paphos, Pafos, Cyprus, late at night on Wednesday, November 12th, 2025, at 10:27 pm local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report. A second report was later issued by Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), which listed it as a magnitude 3.1 earthquake. Other agencies reporting the same quake include the Kandilli Oservatory and Earthquake Research Institute in Istanbul (KOERI-RETMC) at magnitude 3.3, and the citizen-seismograph network of RaspberryShake at magnitude 3.1. Towns or cities near the epicenter where the quake might have been felt as very weak shaking include Kouklia (pop. 890) located 10 km from the epicenter, Geroskipou (pop. 8,400) 19 km away, Konia (pop. 2,200) 21 km away, Paphos (pop. 36,000) 22 km away, Emba (pop. 5,500) 25 km away, and Chlorakas (pop. 6,400) 25 km away. In Kato Polemidia (pop. 23,200, 40 km away), Limassol (pop. 154,000, 44 km away), and Germasogeia (pop. 17,300, 49 km away), the quake was probably not felt.
