Significant magnitude 5.0 quake hits 122 km south of Boyolangu, Indonesia early morning

An earthquake of magnitude 5.0 occurred only 11 minutes ago 122 km south of Boyolangu, Indonesia, Indonesia's Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency reported.
The quake hit at a shallow depth of 10. km beneath the epicenter near Boyolangu, Kabupaten Tulungagung, Jawa Timur, Indonesia, early morning on Monday, November 24th, 2025, at 3:40 am local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.

Weak shaking might have been felt in Boyolangu (pop. 32,300) located 122 km from the epicenter.
