An earthquake of magnitude 4.9 occurred only 19 minutes ago 62 miles south of King Cove, Alaska, United States, the United States Geological Survey reported.
The quake hit at a moderately shallow depth of 21 miles beneath the epicenter near King Cove, Aleutians East, Alaska, USA, early morning on Friday, April 10th, 2026, at 4:50 am local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
