A shallow magnitude 4.6 earthquake was reported early evening near Teluk Dalam, Kabupaten Nias Selatan, North Sumatra, Indonesia.
According to Indonesia's Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency, the quake hit on Wednesday, June 10th, 2026, at 6:10 pm local time at a shallow depth of 15. km. Shallow earthquakes are felt more strongly than deeper ones as they are closer to the surface.
