India's shipping minister ordered a comprehensive vessel tracking dashboard for ships with Indian seafarers. This dashboard will provide real-time information on vessel position and crew welfare. Liaison officers will be appointed to assist affected seafarers and their families. The ministry also directed close coordination with Indian missions in affected nations.
