John Carter could be a science fiction thriller, primarily based on �Barsoom�, the epic series by Edgar Rice Burroughs.
The inspiration for the movie comes from �A Princess of Mars�, the primary work to feature the titular character. John Carter is an yankee war veteran, who inexplicably gets transported to Mars, known to its inhabitants as Barsoom. The residents of the earth are these gigantic and monstrous inexperienced creatures, with six limbs and tusks. they are doing not take kindly to the presence of an intruder, during this case Carter, on their planet. because the resources of the earth deplete and struggle for survival becomes additional and tougher, these creatures come back into constant conflict with each other.
