A magnitude 5.4 earthquake occurred on the morning of Wednesday, September 2nd, 2026, at 9:04 am local time near Kobakma, Central Mamberamo Regency, Highland Papua, Indonesia, according to Indonesia's Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency.
According to preliminary data, the quake was located at an intermediate depth of 71. km.
