It's look like in couple days UBI guys will be able to fix your sim card, which is actually called SMART card if, off course, it is not broken in half, Sestra <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/default/wink.gif" />

It used to display message that the card is faulty, but not any more since i restarted the box.

I'VE GOT THE SAME THING BUT ONLY 4 1 CHANNEL '' SIM CARD FALUTY''...SO I THINK I HAVE TO EITHER RESTRART THE BOX OR I DONNO BY THE WAY ..IM NOT USING THE TARBS BOX IM USING A NORMAL RECIEVER..IF ANY ONE CAN HELP TO PUT THE CHANNEL BACK I WILL PRECIATE IT ...THE CHANNLE CALLED ''AL-ARABIYA'' ARABIC...THANK U

oh really phill..ahh new stuff to learn each day... coz my friend has old dish and a decoder and asked me to give him my "sim" card for his decoder to c if it will be working...so chances are below zero it would...

Yes, the smartcards can sometimes look like they have failed. However, if you do a reset (on STB3100 there is a black reset button on the back, it should clear the message as the fault is not on the card but rather that the box has downloaded corrupt info from the satellite due to poor signal strength. to clear the error sometimes it'll take you going on the roof and re-aligning your dish and LNB to get a stronger signal and then forcing an update.

my reciever im using now it dosnt have a slot for the smart card..and i used to watch it normally.infact i waked up this morning i turned it on ''al-arabiya' and it was working but with out sound...all the rest of the channels are ok...PINk tv ..is lol

There is no way to fix that problem I tried everything possible and at the end I dont charge the customer for it....
