Just got new Technosat IR 7000 form Horizon:

http://www.horizontv.com.au/

Got few questions. How come in satelite name it says Optus B3 and not PAS8. When are the channels will be encoded (scrambled). Does anyone know the PIN for that new box?

It is just lazy installer. B3 is the first sat in list, so they did not changed it. Use manual and change one of the USER sat to PAS8 or whatever name you want. You also can get all the channels (FTA) available on this (PAS8) sat but use manual search of others transporders. I can not use autosearch probably because you have to programm transporders frequencies for this particular sat, but I am not 100% sure - not enough information in manual.

Pin is 0000. About scrambling - I was told by installer that it going to happen Friday before last, but it defenitely did not. About charging I was told they wiil start to charge us after they finish changing boxes and scramble service. I hope it will not happen soon . I'm quite happy to have it as it is now: better box, same channels and no charge. I one word - HALYAVA

[ 14.
