Members,

Phil has had a major heart attack, so you won't see him back here until he has made a full recovery.

He is okay but still in the hospital as he had some stems implanted to fix some blockages.

Update from Phils wife:
Phils heart has been damaged by over 50% and is non recoverable. Out of the 4 main arteries 3 were blocked and when one of them became 100% blocked this is what caused the heart attack and has permanently damaged the heart. Some people have heart attacks which only does minor damage to the heart and if the arteries are still of concern they have a triple bypass, but in Phils case the heart is damaged and nothing can be done except for a heart transplant. The other main concern is Phil is in in 250 that suffers from normal low blood pressure. His typical blood pressure is normally around 95/65 but because he has to take a collection of medication of up to 10 tablets in the morning alone these tablets automatically lower his blood pressure and it gets below 80/45 which causes him to pass out. Doctors at the hospital have tried different medication to slow down the heart as it is beating too fast, but unfortunately it brings the blood pressure down and once it is down he continually feels sick and light headed. The doctors themselves don't know why his blood pressure has always been this low and is really affecting him now. Unfortunately there is not much you can do, he has to keep up this medication for months and for the rest of his life, but how can you live feeling like this all the time, when you consistently pass out.

Phil did not drink, he did not smoke (ever), was not overweight, was very fit, daily exercises plus 5km walks, never ate McDonalds, KFC or any greasy food, lived on acreage where there was no pollution and yet he was found to have his main arteries clogged with cholesterol and as doctors explained at the hospital, this has been building up for over 20 years. All I can say is its hereditary as Phils mother and father both died from it and so did his sister not long ago. There is no fix for his problem except for a new heart.
Phils wife.....
