The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Tornado Watch for portions of
The Florida Panhandle and Big Bend
Far Southern Georgia
Coastal Waters

* Effective this Friday night and Saturday morning from 850 PM
until 600 AM EDT.

* Primary threats include...
A couple tornadoes possible

SUMMARY...Thunderstorms in the outer rain bands of Hurricane Isaias
may continue to pose some threat for tornadoes tonight into early
Saturday morning.

The tornado watch area is approximately along and 60 statute miles
north and south of a line from 30 miles north northwest of
Apalachicola FL to 40 miles north northeast of Cross City FL. For a

REMEMBER...A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for
tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch
area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for
threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements
and possible warnings.
