Moderate yet deep magnitude 5.4 earthquake 21 km southwest of Managua, Nicaragua

Just 6 minutes ago, a 5.4-magnitude earthquake struck near Managua, Departamento de Managua, Nicaragua. The tremor was recorded early morning on Friday, June 26th, 2026, at 5:57 am local time, at an intermediate depth of 112. km below the surface.
The event was filed by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the first seismological agency to report it.
