Bat Sync
After capturing the bat/ufo image yesterday afternoon, I went out for the evening and when I returned, I went outside to enjoy the night air before bed. A few minutes after I sat down, I noticed a single large bat coming in low. It landed in the palm tree a few feet from my chair (which was the same palm tree with lorikeets I earlier tried to photograph). I was awed. I grabbed my camera and managed to get a couple of images of the bat before it climbed up and disappeared within the palm fronds. What a huge sync! I did a little search to see if I could find anyone else with bat/ufo syncs, and I did: in this blog.

Your bat photos and syncs are interesting. I think this dark and goldish/brown photo looks like painted glass or an old movie promo. Cool! Great capture. I read a article that I thought synced-up nicely about bats. Australian city to expel 22,000 bats from downtown gardens SYDNEY (Reuters) – A colony of 22,000 bats may be coming to a neighbourhood near you after an Australian court served the flying foxes with an eviction notice and allowed the government to chase them away with loud industrial noise. .......

Dawn: Thanks for the feedback. Painted glass, eh? I think this is due in large part to my inexpensive, one-touch-user-friendly camera. I can't get good clarity from far away with the camera. Oh yes, and your sync is also mine. I saw the article and read it. It has been a problem for some time now, the fruit bats in the Heritage park. I can sympathize with the bats, the bat-lovers, and the tree-lovers. OQ: Here is a photo I captured of Bat Man. And yes, the bat is my elemental (or one of them), see this post.

I like the picture regardless, it's artsy and has a nostalgic feel to it too. Well done! I hope they get the bat problem straightened out. It sound like an uncomfortable and dire living situation for humans and several species. My positive thought s are with them all for it to be resolved soon.
