480x576 is ok obviously an NTSC source signal, e.g PAL formats often 544x576 (sky nz use this)<br /><br />as for the bitrate is this fixed ? or VBR (variable)such as used in stat muxxing (e.g all channel in the mux alter bitrate in realtime depending on the content)<br /><br />The old saying applys garbage in garbage out if they are passing it straight through as transmitted then the low bitrate is on the source signal.
