I have been noticing there appears to be a lot of ancient ruins and other things being found of late. Archaeologists working in Mexico City have discovered an Aztec monolith, the most important ruins of the ancient civilisation to be found in decades. A figure representing the rain god Tlaloc and another unidentified figure are carved into a frieze on the altar. Archeologists have uncovered a 600-year-old, large underground cemetery belonging to a Peruvian warrior culture, thought to be the first discovery of its kind, an official said on Thursday. In Bosnia, an amateur archaelogist states he has found four pyramids. Europe's only pyramids, dating back to the late Ice Age, exceeding in scale and perfection those of ancient Egypt or Latin America. "This is the most magnificent construction complex built on the face of the planet," says Semir Osmanagi. "These pyramids are so old and so unique, it's hard to compare them to anything else in the world." Norwegian scientists have discovered a "treasure trove" of fossils belonging to giant sea reptiles that roamed the seas at the time of the dinosaurs. The 150-million-year-old fossils were uncovered on the Arctic island chain of Svalbard - about halfway between the Norwegian mainland and the North Pole. Off the coast of Japan some years ago another great find of an underwater pyramid, which is still being excavated. I also found countless more ruins, sunken harbours, ships, fossils, artefacts that have now 'turned up', all around the world. Could it just be, that we have the technology now for finding these things, or is there something more to it
