If we let the customer install the STB and something goes wrong, do you expect UBI to send a technician free of charge to fix the problem? No
The whole point of using a UBI approved installer is to make sure it's all working.

$250 Install = Dish Install. If you read my post you will see that I qouted $65 if the his dish is already aligned to Optus B3 and there is already a cable connection.
Also UBI doesn�t recoup any money as the UBI approved installers are not employed by UBI. The money stays with the technician to pay his time and material.
