Undines are one of the 4 elemental spirits named by Paracelsus, an alchemist.
Undines are the elements of the water (and apparently all of them are female?)

I must confess that I know little about undines because I simply haven't researched into them.

However, today I was going through a ton of old photographs. I saw this 'undine' or 'water spirit' in a pool of water. I'm not going to tell you what I think it is, but I bet Alisa recognizes him right away. lol

I'm going to put post this on my site sometime. I'm thinking of building a Sylph and Undine section. Don't know if I will or not.

The second photo is the 'sized down' scanned copy of the photograph just to give you an idea of how big the pool of water is. There's 2 guys fishing off the bolders near the middle of the picture.
